Two years ago I decided that due to medical issues, I needed help getting into better condition. My goals were to improve my balance and strength. I had done some gym work on my own in the past but hadn’t done it for a long time and didn’t know what to expect when I came in. That was when I was introduced to Karen. Since that time I have learned how to lift weights and have surprised myself with what I have been able to do. Karen keeps me motivated and knows just how to push me (don’t tell me how much the weight is until after I lift it). I have more strength and stamina now, and it’s no longer a chore to do chores. And, while weight loss was not an initial goal, I have even surprised myself by losing 30 pounds. I’m looking forward to the next milestone on my journey. Karen, let’s keep it going.
